What went down
Gary kisses Mads in the hot tub in ep 4, knowing both of his deckhands like her. By ep 9 they've been casually hooking up for three weeks, and she says, 'It's just casual sex to me.' He calls her 'pathetic' while drunk in ep 12, and she cuts him down in ep 14 ('If I was really trying to go for better, I'd have made out with Alex'). She ends up in his bed again in ep 15 but gives him the silent treatment in ep 16.
