What went down
JL couldn't sleep in his undersized bunk and turned down Gary's offer to swap into the captain's cabin (ep 2), then Gary's mounting frustration with him led Gary to demand a bunk swap (ep 3). The two argued about deck work in ep 10, when Gary also bragged he'd fetched a cooler bag faster than JL.
How it landed
At the reunion the crew criticized JL's work ethic, with Gary saying you can only lead a horse to water.
