The lowdown
The Aussie captain who launched the franchise's cold-water experiment, steering Mercury through narrow fjords, failing engines and a crew that kept losing deckhands. He handled Kyle's exit swiftly, backed his young bosun when Seth came for the job, and sat Chef Jess down for a frank talk before the final charter.
