What went down
Tumi was wary of Kyle early on, reasoning that if he was trashing Natalya to her he was trashing her too (ep 6). But when Kyle announced he was resigning after Natalya's exit (ep 9), Tumi persuaded him to stay and help the short-handed interior, showing him more patience than she had shown other problem crew.
How it landed
Kyle finished the season as her 2nd stew and left saying he felt ready to be a chief stew.
