What went down

Mathew leaves for an MRI on his injured knee before charter one, then after a rosé-fueled night off (ep 5) storms off the boat. Sandy had hired a replacement but brought him back for one charter (ep 6), and he stayed; in ep 13 she warns him never to issue ultimatums again.

How it landed

Mathew later claimed Sandy told him to go 'f--k' himself; Sandy said his breakfast struggles 'explain a lot.'
