💘 Boatmance · Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9
Deckies Dodge Cameras for Secret Rendezvous
What went down
After a night out in Athens, Nathan and Gael texted about meeting somewhere with 'no cameras', but Gael ran into production in ep 3 and backed off to stay faithful to her boyfriend. Her boyfriend ended things in ep 9, the pair went rock climbing on their first official date in ep 12, and their romance heated up by ep 16.
How it landed
Left the boat hand in hand and traveled together for about six weeks. They split briefly (Nathan 'ghosted' her), then reunited, welcomed son Kayden in June 2025, and appeared together in S10 and S11. Separation was confirmed in August 2026 (see S11).
