🧭 Mentor · Below Deck Down Under Season 1
Captain Takes Benny Under His Wing
What went down
When Benny tried to quit in the middle of the night, Captain Jason (an ex-plumber) fixed his overflowing toilet and talked him into staying (ep 4). From ep 5 Jason took Benny under his wing, and in ep 13 he chose a formal warning over firing, saying the deck crew wanted Benny on the team.
How it landed
Benny finished the season with a much-improved work ethic.
