The original Below Deck chef came out of a six-year yachting hiatus to save season 4 and immediately lost a sous chef. Between pet-name wars with Ellie, a guest-cabin habit, a Jenna romance and an ego clash with Daisy and old friend João, he was the season's lightning rod.

Chef Ben came back in 2026, running the galley on Below Deck Down Under Season 4 (premiered February 2026). It was his first full season in 11 years. He also sailed as a guest chef on the Sea Cloud Spirit in January 2026.
