What went down
Flirtations between bosun Ross and deckhand Katie started in ep 3 and turned into kisses in ep 4. Ross's drunken flirting with Alissa upset Katie in eps 6, 10 and 12, and the pair broke up and got back together repeatedly, including a guest-cabin night in ep 10 and a sheet-over-the-head apology in ep 11. By ep 16 they agreed to keep it 'fun' and non-committal.
How it landed
Katie confirmed to E! News that it didn't survive the season: 'He went his way after the show and I went mine.'
