🔥 Feud · Below Deck Season 5
Nico vs. EJ: Battle for the Deck
What went down
Nico was blindsided when Captain Lee brought in EJ as bosun (ep 5) and undermined him from day one. Their tension boiled over in a drunken St. Barths fight (ep 6), and Nico kept blaming EJ for deck mistakes (eps 7-9). Kate likened it to a jock bullying a nerd. Worn down, EJ gave notice in ep 10, and Nico admitted he'd been 'a complete dick' just before EJ left in ep 11.
How it landed
EJ left. At the reunion Captain Lee called Nico childish and said Nico's treatment of EJ was what angered him most.
