What went down
Nico and Brianna had already met on a flirty water-taxi ride before the season (ep 1). Despite Nico's girlfriend Melissa back home, they flirted in St. Barths (ep 6), shared a romantic meal (ep 7), and held hands at the crew resort (ep 8). By ep 12 they were sharing a bunk. Nico then grew cold and ended things before heading home in the finale (ep 14).
How it landed
Over by the finale. At the reunion Nico admitted he leaned on Bri for support while grieving; Melissa broke up with him once the season aired.
