What went down
New deckhand Kyle was smitten with Sierra from his first day (ep 5) and pressed his case (eps 6-7). Their fishing date in ep 8 was awkward, and Kyle came back fuming that she had texted someone back home throughout. By ep 10 they were screaming at each other on the beach, and Kyle was still griping about her in the finale.
How it landed
Never happened. Kyle had a girlfriend at home (Ashley visited in ep 12) and Sierra was seeing someone; Sierra later named him the one crewmate she didn't keep in touch with.
