⚓ Fired · Below Deck Season 12
Captain Kerry Cuts His 'Scattered' Bosun
What went down
Caio's deck team went hours without breaks, and he misread Kerry's snorkel spot (ep 3) and brought guests back early. Kerry warned him about his communication in eps 3-5. After another round of misheard radio calls, unprepared lines and a shaky docking, Kerry called him to the wheelhouse at the end of ep 5 and let him go.
How it landed
Caio 'graciously' accepted the firing in ep 6; Hugo Ortega replaced him.
