Below Deck · S8
Robert Phillips
📍 Canada
The lowdown
'Rob from Canada,' a gold-hunting geologist and offshore sailor, replaced Shane in episode 8 and traded awkward flirts with Francesca. He bristled when Izzy was made lead deckhand and was openly passive-aggressive toward her through the finale, which he later said he 'felt pretty terrible' about.
Season 8: Deckhand
📍 Where are they now?
Rob went back to his day job as a geologist prospecting for gold. A cyclone in Fiji, where he was working, famously kept him from dialing in to the Season 8 reunion.
